Do you guys think you can get him? Vampires are strong, aren't they?

They are, but we've got experienced police on the force. And if we need extra help, citizens have always shown their willingness to lend a hand.

Well, we have to try to figure out the truth, first. Then, after that, we figure out fitting punishment.

We're always down, not out. We'll make do.

True, but tiresome.

You're not overworking, are you?

No such thing as overworking.

Are you going to be all right? I'm glad you were found. I wish I'd been around to help.

I'll keep an eye out for Sorrow.

I'm...great. And I'm not sure there would have been anything even you could do. Sheer luck, this time.

I let him know to stick around. I didn't have anything but circumstantial at the time and now with more detail the case is getting murkier.

Great? I'm used to 'fine', but all right. Is there anything I can do to help now? Even if it's just to bring you some decent coffee?

I can only imagine. He was a good man, you know. He helped me, a few months ago. He saw that I was trying to redeem myself and he helped keep me on the right path. That he'd lose it like that is very surprising. If I manage to talk to him at all, I'll let you know what I find out.

You can't offer a cop good coffee and expect anything but a yes. And, I figure if I start answering bigger, maybe I won't have to answer any more.

The more I look into this, the more it points to another player entirely. I'm just not sure how or why.

I was reading through the new files. What followup do you deem necessary where my statement regarding my experience with Sorrow is concerned? Do you recommend a full psychiatric evaluation?

Unrelated, but I would like to recommend that Gabriel Sylar's probationary status as a consultant be removed. His conduct during your absence was admirable.

I trust you, Justin. And if you read Penny's newer information, you might see a connection. We should follow up on ... whatever happened to him. I'm not sure what sources we could count on, but it bears looking into.

Okay, I'll look into it. Anything you want to point me in the direction of?

Dean might have more ideas than anyone else on the force. In light of the new information, we're either dealing with the paranormal or more than one case of insanity.

I don't have network records to show you, but he remained behind to search for you for as long as possible and helped in the searches for both Myrnin and Sorrow.

True, good point. I'll page him in on it.

Thanks, Justin. I'm not sure I'd have caught that myself.

Shouldn't you still be in bed?

Tonight meet me on the rooftop. 7:30.
