I just finished the story. Having Dean's back to the window as Cas looks out pretty much sums up not only the beginning of the story, but the feelings I was left with. Like Cas, I don't know that I'll ever forgive Dean for leaving him.

The cuddling scene is so sweet and manages to soften my emotions towards Dean. Their lips are beautiful.
