did you ever notice that Billy Corgan is considered a rock god here in Chicago just cause he's from here.... like last month 101 had Billy Corgan week.... which sort of turned into Billy Corgan month... don't get me wrong i really like Billy Corgan... well more the pumkins than him personally... it's just kind of odd that's all...

james iha was a good guitarist, but his solo stuff leaves something to be desired...although he did cowrite one of my favorite pumpkins songs- SOMA
and D'arcy... well, i guess she was good...at doing drugs, but then, hey- who wasn't?

oh, matt, you are so funny. I think you are the only person who would make up a whole explanation on why body worlds had to be thought of by a German.The bodies used weren't bodies he had just lying around! They were bodies of people who donated themselves to the work of science after they died. I think that's pretty cool. I might consider that for my dead body. I mean what else will it be used for? and body worlds just looks soooo cool! but i guess im kind of into that sort of stuff. disections were the only things i liked about biology. eww im so grose! haha.

Pumpkins were better than Nirvana merely necause for the aspect of soul produced and presented somehow sincerely in their melodies. Nirvana, comparatively, seem robotic. It's true, Billy Corgan would suffer many takes in order to get his vocals right, and I hear he's not that great a singer in real life... thus he'd do as many takes as possible until it was right. But because of that, you should think of him more of a painter than a performer. I think of myself the same way art least uuntil my musical performance can match that which conceive in my head. But then again, that's impossible, isn't it? The fact that we can never reach what we imagine is what pushes us to continue creating!
