I think this week for me was the best week in baseball yet in 2005. I went to a bunch of games, including Tuesday's debut of 19-year old Felix Hernandez.( Long and reflective post continues beyond the cut )
There is no good reason to leave a game early. You should have thought of that before you went to the game!
I am always fascinated by stories about reels out of order in movies. It really gives creedence to the philosophy that the audience is always working to make sense of whatever you give them.
We had a projectonist who put the reels for Dances with Wolves out of order and it ran for 2 sold out shows before anyone said anything. I hate Kevin Costner, serves him right.
Also, we had a shorts program of cartoons, Warner Bros I think, and the film got out 20 minutes early. Seems the projectionist skipped a reel.

Not me. I just get grumpy and confused.

Oh, the boring stories I could tell!

I knew it was a short, short game, but I didn't know it was the shortest. It was, none-the-less, more satisfying than many longer games.
Did I mention that I left my hat at the second game?
