The Lost Numbers and the Yankees

I'm to lazy to post this in any of the million of lost forums out there, so this is to no one in particular (except maybe zoomardav):

The Lost Numbers are NOT all retired Yankees numbers. There are 15 retired Yankees numbers (16 if you count #8 twice because it honors two players). The retired numbers are:

In honor of douglas adams...

No, it's actually for Jackie Robinson, who broke the color barrier in major league baseball in 1947. He wore 42. They retired it in the 90's, though they allowed anyone who was wearing 42 at the time to keep it.

At safeco, in right field you'll see the number displayed in Robinson's honor.

your decription of the sauces made my cravings worse. i seriously don't work at all at the theatre this weekend and can see myself driving up there. thanks for the link, directions... and your favorites. dying for it.
