I've heard little Franz Ferdinand but I really like it. The disappointment for me is that every time I hear their stuff I get depressed because my ex was really into them, now no matter how much I want to enjoy some good new music from them I just get all bleh.

I know the feeling about songs/bands connected to the past. The memories either never go away, or they are overwritten. It just depends, I guess.
