So.. maybe it IS a good time to rejoin the labor pool. What with the State minimum wage up and all. That way I'm not "grandfathered" in so to speak. After all, if I've been working at a job that's $5 above the previous minimum wage then the law changed.. suddenly, in theory, I take a $2 pay cut. Now, when I apply for a new job, I can ask for that

Chefs like us need our freedom from cooking for others, cooking for a living in a place not our own only stifels our creativity.
