So.. maybe it IS a good time to rejoin the labor pool. What with the State minimum wage up and all. That way I'm not "grandfathered" in so to speak. After all, if I've been working at a job that's $5 above the previous minimum wage then the law changed.. suddenly, in theory, I take a $2 pay cut. Now, when I apply for a new job, I can ask for that

A six month stint in Ohio training for a job that you want and can enjoy and will make your life that much better to me is worth the small amount of time you'll be away from friends. And if its in Cleveland well thats only a 4 hour drive to my place. Toledo, only 1:45
so its not all that bad.
I would consider it.
Chefs like us need our freedom from cooking for others, cooking for a living in a place not our own only stifels our creativity.
