Okay, I don't want to spam people's FLists about this, but there seems to be some confusion in the comments of the previous post.
First,
copperbadge is an excellent resource on this hacking plague, as he was a victim of it mid-October. Of particular interest are these posts:
ONE, which outlines his own experiences, and
TWO, an important addendum on the experiences of others hacked.
OF GREAT IMPORTANCE: The Russian site, as one might suspect, has (ETA) has been reported to have some spyware lurking about on it. If you've clicked the link, please run your spyware- and virus-fighting programs of choice, and that should take care of it. Google has free downloads of such programs which you can grab at pack.google.com if you don't have any such software.
Also, the hacker has been known to spam the communities to which it's gained access, so you might want to think about temporarily defriending
shoebox_project and
dorkorific, if you want to be careful. However, as long as you don't click any links, keeping them friended should not adversely affect your account or your computer.
