...and getting worse at using Twitter :D

My hair is now all bright pink. For two days is was both light blonde and pink at the ends, but I just felt the blonde was far too light for me and couldn't be bothered going to get some darker blonde dye to make it work. I'm naturally a medium blonde and anything lighter just doesn't suit me.

Unfortunately forgot to take a picture when it was all curly >_< but when it's not in it's current, pottering-about-the-house state, shall take one :)

I've always been sort of jealous of people who could knit. Making a sweater or a scarf for myself has been one of my secret dreams ever since I was a kid..

I'll need to take a picture again when the hair is reasonably neat :D

My mum used to knit loads when I was a kid, and tried to teach me a few times. but I was always really bad at knitting when I was younger; I just never could get the hang of it. Now, once I got past the initial confusion, it finally clicked and with loads of practice, I'm pretty decent, at least for someone who has been doing it for two weeks. A scarf is properly the first thing I'll attempt. But before even starting one, I'm just playing about with different techniques.

There are a load of good videos on YouTube if you want to try knitting out. It's not overly difficult, you just have to accept for the first while you'll make loads of mistakes. And get a light wool at first. I started on bright pink at first, which was great, but then went on to black, which is very easy to make mistakes on when you're new to it.
