The temperature hasn't gotten above -10C over the past few days, and goes down to -13/14C at night. I actually think this is the first time I remember it being this cold; normally a cold winter here means the temperature hovers around the 0C mark. 5C is average for December. In other parts of Northern Ireland it's even come close to -20C, a

Nice job on knitting things! They look great. :D
Toby is handsome as ever, and your views are beautiful! I'd love to come visit you someday.

Toby is the most handsome boy in the world. I feel sorry for the girls as he wins people over so easily with his good looks, his hyperness and cuddliness.
If you're ever over here, you're more than welcome to visit!

That is most definitely really cold, though! Amazing that it's so abnormally cold, even historically. Definitely hot chocolate and tea weather!
Hahaha, he is definitely very charming! The girls are adorable, too, though, of course! ♥
Hopefully someday I will be able to visit! It would be fun! :D

Your knitting looks really great! I can't believe those are some of the first things you've knitted - they look awesome! Did you know how to knit before, or did you just learn for the first time? I used to know how to knit when I was a kid but I've forgotten how to and would like to learn again but I don't know if I'd have the patience for it!

I remember both my mum and school attempting to teach me how to knit as a kid, but I could just never do it. So I've only really been doing it properly for the past few months. There's a wee group, mostly 20-30 something year old girls, that meets every Wednesday from 4:30 in the Starbucks in Victoria Square. When your feel able to get out with your poor leg, you're more than welcome to come down if you ever want to get into it again. We just sit, drink nice stuff, knit and gossip.
Forgot to say it on your journal, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed everything goes great with your surgery, and that next year you'll be able to get back to full health!

The knitting group sounds kind of fun, might be something I'd be interested in once I am a bit more mobile! Who knows I could learn how to knit in hospital and then show everyone at the knitting group up with my superior knitting skillz, lol.
