I should probably LJ-cut this entry, but I'm just too darn lazy . . . in any event, here are some long overdue tidbits from the last month or so.

Lack of a social life??!?!? What about your hot smokin' workplace affair!?

But all that aside, I definitely agree. Any interest in any of the concerts on that list? The Tom Vek this Sunday is a particularly good value at $10, even though the Black Cat Backstage is a fairly undesirable venue. Any other shows you've been looking at with interest? If not that, maybe a movie? A museum? My non-existent social life could definitely use a boost, too!

ugh it is so not hot or smokin' at this point. we are all too tired.

sadly i'm closing every day for the rest of the week, so i can't do anything at night. i should get next week's schedule in the next couple days and i'll get back to you with my availability.

Ouch, sucks to be you. Let me know when there's some sunshine on the scheduling horizon.

My own general availability is weekdays after 6 or 7, and weekends. I'm in Arlington for work, now, so it might make the most sense to get together over there for something on a weeknight. I'd suggest the Okkervil River concert on 11/14 but I have jury duty that day and have no idea if I'll really make the show.

In that vein, how late does "closing" really imply? The doors don't even open for the Tom Vek show tomorrow night until 9:00 p.m., so by my reckoning that means he won't be going on until almost 11, maybe even later. I have a feeling this will end up being a pretty amazing concert, and he's got lots of bluzz these days ... your Said the Gramophone buddies will definitely approve! If you get there on the Metro I'll even give you lift back across the River ... what do you say?
