So I'm about halfway through my trip to Australia. Observing is over, we got one clear (but not that great seeing) night yesterday, tonight is cloudy again, so we've gone to bed early as there's enough people there to take any data if it does clear, and we've a long drive tomorrow back to Sydney

scaling syndey harbour bridge? Is that in a staircase to the top way or a proper climbing experience? Sounds fun if its the latter...

We have a sofa bed if you don't mind the trek to the North Pole - since Lenny's also off work for ChCh you will have someone to entertain you in the morning while I rush off to work too... although that said you may get fed up of him at the river and not want to come anywhere near!

In a small caveat to this, my parents have just announced that they will be visiting that weekend. You would still be welcome, I just may not be in for some of the day and at least the early part of the evening on saturday... but then I assume you might be at a ChCh wrap party anyway?
