I Ran

Oct 22, 2006 12:53

So I did the Great South Run. It was wet. I think I got a vaguely respectable time (somewhere under 90 minutes).

I'm now drying off and I'm going to have a nice hot bath.

And I love space blankets.

But furry ones are better once you're indoors.

Update: 85:22. Position 3,389 of 18,000.

So, I reckon I can actually cut that time in half because of the atrocious weather.

Or doesn't it work like that? :-)

Well done, really great time, eep about the weather- it was pretty foul today and I was mostly just in the car!

Thank you. Wasn't really bad till I stopped running and then I'm surprised there weren't people dropping like flies. As I said, space blankets - yay!

Well done! A friend of mine ran yesterday, and came to our friend's house looking tired, wet and sore (we ran her a bath out of kindness/pity)

Great time too x

Space blankets are a Good Thing. I have one at home, somewhere, from one of the times I passed out when there were official medical people about when I fainted.

(Well done on the run, by the way. I'd completely forgotten it was coming up this weekend (preoccupied) or I'd have tried to say good luck in advance too)
