looks like there are going to be week-by-week episode reviews of my fav. shows

It's been a long time since I've been as interested in a tv show as I am in Fringe.

Its plot and characters are absolutely brilliant, and I love that the writers can keep the right balance between continuing everyone's favourite traits (such as Walter's knack for food at the most inappropriate times) and development. It never feels stagnated; just when you've learned something about a character or plotline, its taken in a whole new way that builds off of prior stuff but points somewhere new and exciting. They don't bother to tie up all loose ends and they have the healthy habit of sneaking non-conspiracy mysteries every now and then.

Plus, this season Anna Torv is getting to showcase her talent wonderfully. I'm amazed at how she manages to pull of an Olivia that feels off enough that I'm irked by her, and yet is similar enough to the original so that it isn't too weird that she's fooling everybody. (in reference to 3x01 "Olivia" and 3x02 "The Box")

I dealy hope John Noble gets some sort of prize for his Walter. He makes the character wonderfully believable with his swings from genius to grandpa, ambitious scientist, psychothropic enthusiast and food-lover, all of which he masters.

As for Glee 2x02 "Britney/Brittany": Plot made even less sense than usual (plus, Will/Emma? booooring!), but some of the performances were a lot of fun. I was in high school myself when Britney Spears released her first hit song, so it was a very nostalgic ep for me. Plus I loved Brittany and Santana's rendition of the "Me against the music" video and Glee's version of "Toxic".

Does anyone else think it's weird that Kurt campaigned so hard and didn't get a Britney solo himself?

And now I can only hope they'll continue the pop-culture tributes with a Michael Jackson episode. I'd join a facebook campaign for that :)

Lastly, House M. D. 7x02 "Selfish": much better than last week's. There was an actual patient with actual drama this time, and a lot more Wilson.
