sat down on my old pc. It was an innocent step at first.... but it proved to lead me down a path I hadn't expected to cross. I started reading some poetry from years back. why is it so hard? I'm going to start writing letters and work on my original idea of making a book about my friendships. Ok, so progress on my literary path... is very slow. I selected some writings. And then of course had to deal with the feelings that resurfaced. Sometimes i wonder how i could ever write such beautiful words about such (internally) ugly people. And once I unravel that mystery I'll be sure to make millions with my book ( Read more... )

So, I made a list of things that I am going to do... maybe this comes from watching Oprah reruns or what I am not sure... So I'm going to make a list of my favorite writings and see about sprucing them up for publication. Right now I'm trying not to overwhelm myself with these feat because I have A LOT of manuscripts. Ok, I admit... I have a problem. I keep telling myself that I am going to write a book or publish my poetry but I keep holding myself back.

Is it fear of failure, fear of success? Fear of what others might think? It could be any of these things... so maybe I will struggle with that here a little bit incognito... like a mosquito with quiet wings.
