RIP Dad
At 2:51 am today, my father - Delbert W Robinson - passed into the Clearing at the End of his Path. I'm gonna miss you Dad.

Sadly, the donor body had three viral strains that rendered it unsuitable for Dad and the others waiting for transplant surgery. It was a good dry run for the family, other than the emotional rollercoaster. Mom says Dad seems ok but he is stoic and internalizes his health concerns so it's hard to tell ( Read more... ) -
OMG - it's finally happening....
Dad got the call, he is on the way to UW Medical Center for his lung transplant!!! I'll update when I can -

Mom just called - Dad's hard work has paid off, he was just put on the lung transplant list!!!! After working so long to lose the weight the docs wanted off, he finally broke past the final 5 pounds that have been holding him back for 6 or 9 months.
The wait could be several months, or just days...the Universe will decide -
