Metacognition is quite ironically the sole stabilizer in my life. Resonating constantly in my mind, my theories of philosophy participate in an engulfing cycle of bipolar thoughts. I attempt to fill a void, a puff escaping the lips, a pill sliding down a contracting throat, an ex razor past the subcutaneous tissue. But like a loose screen door in the climax of a hurricane, the realization hits me abruptly. All these so-called coping mechanisms are simply ways to bullshit my way out of my inane complaints, acute issues, and irrational fears. In reality, the masochistic behavior I partake in is simply a crutch for my weakness to face what is truly (or possibly and relatively not) a place quite dark and ghastly.
