It's so nice to have living room furniture. That's right, after almost 5 years of marriage, we finally have a "normal" living room.  With the fireplace going and all the animals, it feels like a a home for the first time.

I love this time of year, although not the holiday part of it. Just the crisp weather, hot soups and delicious hot chocolate. :)

we have had the fire going continuously for about 18 hours. so awesome. our rat terrier hates it though.

is the dog scared of the fire? Our dogs love it, so much so that we moved their dog beds close to the fire. animals are so weird sometimes.
