Good question, what is a den? I checked it in the dictionary and this is what I got:
1. A cave or hollow used as a refuge or hiding place.
2. The shelter or retreat of a wild animal; a lair.
3. A secluded room for study or relaxation.

Not that I didn't already know, but your pick.

Den -- my friend used to live in a house

:D It's just another nickname. Aweej is said by blackrose_ & my second cousin. When she was lil she couldn't say "r" and so it would come out as "w". It went a lil bit like this: Aunty Aweej, how ah you. HeHe. Too kyoot!!

Was the devil in your friends Den? lol
