I can't really answer the first two questions.. Although I think 50,000$ is not enough for a city like Toronto for a non-student life. But I still havent met any Canadian that would rather go live in the States. And I personally think living Canada is better that living in the states.
My particular life circumstances and history (and values) point to quality of life as being more important to me than the almighty dollar. but I have child support obligations that would equal 10K to 12K CAN, as you can imagine I must think about this carefully. Long term I know that I want to end up in Canada, question is, can I survive at this time.
I would have a down payment for a house... since I am selling my current one. is housing cheaper in Mississaugua, Oakville, or York than in T.O.? you are in college, right? you prolly never think about that stuff :)
thanks, I'm trying to get away from ghetto but I can handle it since I grew up Detroit ghetto (not as bad as 8 mile though). and I live in an Arab trash neighborhood right now... we have our share... bleh.
I finally decided to apply for jobs in both the US and Canada, to see what happens. If I get a good offer in Toronto I'll take it. I'll make it somehow! If I get a good offer somewhere else, I'll delay my move to Canada a bit.
