Because I'm a distraction-whore at the moment, I just wanted to list the (often terrible) shows I watch to escape work. Please tell me if you do too so I know who I can bitch/squee to at the relevant times

I watch Desperate Housewives and Grey's Anatomy and used to watch Gossip Girl. With DH and GA I usually wait until they have translated the episodes and show them on German television... but I don't mind spoilers and www.tv.com is one of my best friends ;)

I don't know if you saw the last ep of Grey's Anatomy (before the christmas hiatus)...I thought it was awful. Literally awful. So it better pick up again!

I watch Dexter, Gossip Girl, Greys Anatomy and True Blood...

And I agree with the above comment, Greys before christmas was awful so hopefully it gets better, and the season finale of True Blood was disappointing.

Hopefully when both pick up they will go back to thier greatness

The latest season of Dexter was SO GOOD! Especially compared to the terrible third season.

You're right about True Blood...the first season was so good that it was going to be hard to follow. A lot of series dip in the second season because they're still sort of finding their feet...so hopefully third season will be back up to standard. I love Eric!! He's so beautiful.

I'm going to see Up in the Air as soon as it comes out (15th over here)...but let me know what you think of it!

Yesssssss - it was unbeliveable. I mean I really wasn't expecting it! I knew something must happpen right at the end because otherwise the finale wasn't eventful/unpredictable enough but I never imagined that...

Can't wait for the next season!

I'm glad most people watch True Blood. It's managed to be fairly original despite the hugely overused theme of vampires.

Why does The Road scare you? I did hear it's quite depressing actually...

You're right. It's powerful to watch but films like that do give you almost too much to think about! Unless they're done terribly like 2012.......

I haven't read the books. I'm still working my way through the Twilight saga so once I've finished I'll gladly find something else to sink into. Are they much like the show or just the same characters?

I'm glad to see you here! was watching gossip girl, true blood. And i was starting watch vampires diaries, but this show don't like me and now i don't watch it

I loved it. I didn't think I would because I'm one of the only people on the planet that doesn't completely swoon over George Clooney. But he totally won me over in this one!!

It's so weird to see Anna Kendrick (from the Twilight movies) in such a big role. I thought she was brilliant. She is clearly way over-qualified for the role of Jessica in Twilight/New Moon.

But yeah generally I thought it was brilliant. Considering how badly the recission hit everyone, I'm surprised a feel-good spin on it hasn't come out before now.
