Well I didn't post at all this week so I figured I'd pop in even though my life is boring as hell!

Because I am lazy and procrastinate I just decided to go for my permit test, spur-of-the-moment, yesterday. And passed! So I had my first hour of driving today, that was pretty exciting and I maybe, possibly hitacurb BUT HEY HOW ABOUT ALL THOSE LEFT

my family cares more about hockey than football and... some other big american sport (baseball? NASCAR?) combined. so i can't help but care about hockey, olympics or not.

go hurricanes! and if the hurricanes suck, go flyers! woot woot.

but everything else? yeah, don't care. i do like figure skating, just not enough to watch the worlds/nationals/etc. and slalom is really fun to say! but i don't follow this stuff outside of the olympics. there's just something about it.

it's probably one-part NBC shoving it down my throat, and two-parts "national pride" or something ridiculous that i don't really possess much of otherwise.

and as for hockey... SOCHI 2014!

Ahhhh, if I have to root for a hockey time outside of the Olympics, it's the Phillies. Backing my dad here. xD

I used to watch figure skating a lot when I was a kid! But yeah, now everything has kind of been relegated to 'Olympics-only' status.

well, i say hurricanes because i live in north carolina. but my dad's been a philadelphia flyers fan his entire life, so it's like genetic. :P

i actually watch more of the winter olympic sports than the summer ones. hockey, figure skating, aerials, skiing, snowboarding, curling, bobsleds, luge VS. swimming, gymnastics and volleyball. oh, and soccer, sometimes. i think it's because i like the snow. :D
