Not neccesarily. I've found myself in fucked situations where being alone in the company of other peoples is a lot better. Blocking out fucked up, illogical, boring, stupid conversation and keeping to myself is a rad trait I developed when I had to deal with an ex-gf's family gatherings..*shudders*.
