I'm going to be online all day today, and Wednesdays tend to be one of the quieter trading days in the shop, so I thought it might be fun to hold a Writing Forum.
Basically, this is your chance to pick my brain about writing. Go ahead and ask questions about writing practice/theory, writing technique, how I work, the beta process, one of my stories, or anything else related to writing.
General discussion is also welcome.
I'm also happy to workshop scenes if you've got something that you're having trouble with. Any fandom (or original), any pairing (or none), any type of scene. Please keep the extract to under 2 comments in length (otherwise it's a beta, not a workshop). I'd also like you to have a go at telling me what you think the problem is. If you don't know, that's fine; but give it a try, even if it's just "the flow is wrong."
Don't be shy about taking me up on this offer, even if you've never dropped by my LJ before. One of the things I've always loved best about fandom is how it gives us access to resources that would otherwise be closed to us. Today it's my turn to give something, and what I'm giving is access to my Doctorate in Writing. Take me up on it.
