I did my "first craft show" at my parents' camp when we were there for Memorial Day weekend. To my unending surprise, I sold $25 worth of stuff, and it wasn't even my fancy stuff. It was a pair of flower earrings, a keychain, and a necklace. I was so excited about it! It also gave me some much needed confidence and helped me with a few realizations ( Read more... )

For #4 - if you know a crocheter (or are one yourself) - you can crochet a piece which fits into a standard picture frame. Earrings hang well off crocheted fabric, and usually helps the jewelry look fab. :)

That is a BRILLIANT idea!!! I've been reading a lot about other ways---window screen cut into squares, lace or old tights---but this is an even better idea!

Thanks so much! I crochet and I will definitely try that. I've already got a lot of ideas about what stitches and colors to use. :3
