No need to apologize. Many--if not most--Americans could stand to get a little perspective regarding 9/11. Don't get me wrong, it was terrible, but there are plenty of places where worse atrocities are committed on a far more regular basis. We're pretty lucky to be living in a country where terrorist attacks are rare enough to ruffle so many feathers when they occur.
