Well, without the sun, there would be no life on earth.  But I was recently watching a show on the Science Channel that said the sun produces sound waves.  I found a clip on youtube that explains it a little.  Listen at the end, and with a little imagination, you can almost hear the sun rumbling with the rhythm of "Nam Myoho Renge Kyo".

....But as Frankie and I have found out, you need a little (or a lot) of patience.  We started chanting for Frankie to find employment back in January.  It seemed no matter how much we chanted, we were coming up with nothing.  But, we kept going.

SGI members often speak about the positive impact that chanting Nam-myoho-renge-kyo has on their lives. This is hard to comprehend and is something that can only be experienced on an individual basis. Collecting money from friends and family to send to SGI's relief efforts for Japan.  There are millions of SGI members in Japan that need to repair kaikans and members' homes.  Not to mention the devastation at Sendai.  So far I have collected $8.00.  Not much, but I am making good causes for my karma.
