First impression of Kazuhiko is generally good! Talking to him the first time was a little overwhelming--like hearing about really working fake hands in particular actually touched a little angst off for him. At the same time, it was interesting.

But he seems like an okay person, and like he has a good sense of humor. Okita will probably keep an eye open for him in the future if he has questions or something.

I think Okita respects Saitou's abilities as a swordsman--I'm not sure, I think of the Shinsengumi and with what we've seen, Okita respects Saitou's skill the most. On the other hand, I think he finds Saitou pretty fun to antagonize, both because he's so stoic, and because he fanboys Hijikata like he does. He's a target. One Okita sort of respects and maybe even sympathizes with in ways, but at the same time... WHAT A TARGET.

By which I mean, YOU ARE FREAKING CONFUSING. There is something about you that is, actually, sort of vaaaaguely reminiscent of Okita's Kondou, but then it's like it was rolled in crack and body hair. And naked. And possibly fail. And more crack. idek. Hakuouki!Okita is very close to Kondou, and regards him very highly, so Kondo is really... an issue.

They should play more. :|b

And why not, I guess. AU, but he's interacted with her in AU enough for me to give, like, an AU answer! XD

Yuuki was probably the person Okita felt the most like he let down and hurt, particularly stealing that box and such. More than anyone else's reaction, it kind of drove home the "you did a stupid thing," point. (But he also saw himself as committed to said stupid thing. Like a winner.) Her willingness to risk the mini-guillotine struck him as admirable, especially since she's a girl. He's... maybe a little sexist that way, okay, it comes from being from the 1860s. And she reminds him a little of Chizuru, but like a stronger Chizuru.

So she made a strong impression!
