Oooh, interesting. I can't believe I missed this fic the first time around. Ed as a waiter is a very unique idea, and you write it well. You obviously have some waiting experience yourelf.
So, yes, I will be looking forward to part two. :3
If my descriptions are so accurate I can convince people in the field, I've done my job well, thank you for the compliment.
I asked around for some help, but the responses were more along the lines of extreme cases in waiting (and that was -after- part one.) So, until Ed does something crazy like slip and drop an entire tray of food- I'm just going by instinct of how the job looks, from the outside.
Interesting story premise, and I really like your writing style. It's clear and evocative, drawing me right into the diner - I think that's maybe your use of details - enough to sketch everything in, without bogging down in extraneous description.
Thank you. I've always been envious of people that could balance details well like that, so it means a lot to me that you pointed that out, specifically.
I really really enjoyed that! i can't wait to read the second part!! its such a cool story! i like stories about waiters ^___^ and of course Roy and Ed XD well done! :)

And, no, actually- ^-^;; I'm still at my first and only job, at a video rental store. No waiting for me.
