This is lovely. It's so unusual to see a first war period fic that doesn't feature copious amounts of angst and an unhappy ending.

I also liked the line about Narcissa hating to get blood on her furniture - apparently, Severus wasn't the first to turn up at Malfoy Manor with serious injuries. Cinnamon.
