I didn't have any anxiety at all ("...When are you leaving? I have things to do...") while my little sister did ("Don't go!"). I think it was because I was NOT AT ALL attached to High School (save a HS sweetheart, who I had a messy break up with the following semester), while my sis was terribly attached to the people she was 'leaving behind'. So I've more equated this anxiety with HS experience rather than anything Parental.

However, my conclusion is based on two anecdotes rather than any evidence XD.
