The importance of friendship...

Whenever I'd watch a wedding on t.v. and hear the coin phrase, “I married my best friend..." I can't say that I'd ever be impressed by that. I'd ask myself, who would want to marry a friend? Isn't that boring? For most of my life, I wanted to marry a lover, where the lust and passion would never end. With my experience with relationship and now marriage, I can defiantly tell you that a good solid friendship within the relationship is a vital piece to it. I find that Mike and I have more of a comfortable level of relationship being such good friends.

I've started understand and appreciate how important it is to be a friend first before husband or wife

I agree with this 100%, especially in a marriage.

Overall, family comes first. And you are apart of our family, Julia. Thanks for the post. I will be posting something similar to this post on my anniversary.
