To be kinder to myself. Here's the deal. I take a pretty good picture, good eye for composition, I think. But for the most part I've been really disappointed with the shots of taken of The Rat City Rollergirls. What I would see before I pressed the shutter button and what I would get back on the contact sheets or prints would be totally different.

Very cool. A good realization to come to as far as I can see. You are a good photographer to begin with so this can only make things so much better. I am impressed.

i find that i have to fight myself from kicking myself when i am down, because that is what i know best.
