Hey Angelique,thetoothbrushJune 9 2006, 17:30:02 UTC
My name's Alisa, and I think your entries have been fascinating. To be very honest, I'm not even sure if I believe them. But then again, that's the cynic in me talking. However, your photographs are beautifully taken and modified; very whimsical.
Anyway, I've added you as a friend, add me back?
All the best in Dili, I did a story for Australian radio on the situation there. It was huge in Australia, because the government sent troops in. Apparently the Australian troops had captured 100+ rebels and disarmed them? But your entries don't show the stability that the media reported. I know there's pressure on Alkatiri to step down from his position and I hope it happens soon. Maybe that will help the situation. Be safe. &hearts

Alkatiri was the one who was responsible for firing almost half his defense force, right? That sparked off the situation today. So if he steps down, won't the violence stop? I mean, I'm sure that there will be unhappy people, but there's already alot of pressure on him to step down.
So if you're not a photojournalist there, who are you working for?
Be safe, it won't be too long before you're back here. =)
