You know I think I've heard of that book, but I've never read it. I will definately pick it up now. It sounds facinating. Thank you.

It does sound like a very interesting book. I'm sorry to hear she has passed away though.... It really sucks when a favoured author/actor is gone because you cannot enjoy new works from them.... But at least you can reread/resee those works they did create.

I taught Kindred at DePaul in a summer bridge course for high school students who needed catch-up work for college. (They had to read a list of other novels -- this was the only one I got to choose.) I have never heard a classroom have so many interesting discussions, not even teaching Shakespeare. Her loss is monumental.
