Oh yeah, I own the movie. Very, very good movie, but very, very fucked up.

My friend Ryan used to work with Billy Kay (who is HOT), and my roommate Frank is friends with James Costa (who played Kevin, the kid who fucks his sister). Paul Franklin Dano, though, is only two months younger than Billy. Paul's not quite as cute, though.

I read a review of it on some gay site that pissed me off so much; they panned it because it didn't show any kissing or imply anything more sexual between the two boys (making it seem like the movie wasn't "edgy" enough). It was so stupid.

Yeah, it's really random and trivial and absolutely worth nothing at all that i know two guys who know two guys who are minor friends. You know what they say about six degrees of separation and everything.

And you're right; I hate people who expect overt or graphic sexuality in gay films. Because all gay guys care about is sex. And, you know, we all fit the gay stereotypes, so there's no need to portray anything outside of that.

Whale Rider was very good. Did you rent Hedwig and the Angry Inch or Sweet Sixteen yet?

The guy in my icon, Howlin' Pelle Almqvist, is the lead singer of a rock n roll band from Sweden called "The Hives".
