I've waited and thought about this for a while and I'm still not entirely sure how to react to this.
An internet meme never hurt anyone. And of course, people don't need a meme to identify what's right. It's nice to validate and stand up for your beliefs, even if it seems to be in a silly way.
That said, you might take a look at the tone of your comment as well.

In my experience, most people aren't after approval - they do what they want - bugger what anyone else thinks. :) However, I've also noticed that while not really seeking approval, many people seem to desire both recognition & support in whatever it is that they are passionate about.
I feel, that everyone's sexuality with other concenting adults should be their personal choice & their lifestyle choices should be treated equally.
We all deserve to be validated & feel a sense of acceptance.
So, YES, I Proudly recognise & support & Gay rights!
BTW: I will ignore all negative replies to this post - life is too short to argue over people's opposing opinions - everyone has the right to their own opinion & I will not be baited nor swayed from mine.

Thank you for your kind words. I'm not worried about an opposing opinion. Life would be very dull if everyone thought the same thing. The important thing is that people think, that's all.
Thank you for the opportunity to express my support for gay rights & I agree...
I'm not worried about an opposing opinion either - I encourage, acknowledge & support people to express how they feel about a subject. :D
We grow only when we are prepared to open our mind to another perspective. We don't have to accept it as our own beliefs, just acknowledge in an open minded manner that other feelings or ways of seeing the world exist & the people who express these opinions deserve to have these feelings be acknowledged as valid for them.

Agree or disagree. At least you're thinking.
