Noi Chudnoff passed away earlier this week. Noi was a small business owner on 14th street who spent most of her time and money helping out the arts in DC, as well as the Whitman Walker clinic and other charities. She single-handedly helped to make my friend's theater company possible.

I'm really sad about Noi. She's one of those rare people whose deaths leave a huge hole in the community, and the NBC coverage makes that clear.
