[It's official. She's going to go crazy if things stand as they are, she needs something to do and since any decent level of technology in this place seems to be against the laws of nature -or rather the laws of the Malnosso, really, she's so making sure that Goku beats them to a pulp when they have a chance-... She has to find something else to do ( Read more... )

You'd do all of that for free?

[That makes her laugh.]

There's no money here or need for it anyway, and it would be fun. I earn a lot just by doing it for free.

Sounds like it would be a treat to get a manicure in a place like this!

I wouldn't mind helping out with something like that either. Some people really are just walking around with no sense of style.

I try to be positive and think that it's just the way their worlds are, you can't blame someone for thinking that rags are a trend when they come from a world in which everyone wears those.

[She chuckles.]

I'll probably need some help if I go with the Make Over idea, specially if it's well liked. Have you counted how many people are in need of one of those?

That's wonderful! It's about time we had something like this around here!

[Maybe good things DO happen in Luceti!]

Tell me about it, I'm still surprised this place has gone on for so long without at least a hairdresser.

[It makes her wonder what kind of disasters she'll see if she goes with the idea and people come. Though she checked the stores and they have good products for hair care.]

Yes, taking care of my own hair is quite tedious. I've done well enough on my own, but it's really not quite enough.

[She'd probably enjoy doing this line of work too if it didn't seem like such lowly work.]

Is that so? I enjoy taking care of my own hair, or leave it to my domestic robots which I built, but that's kind of the same. It's not easy to come by with a hairdresser who knows what they are doing and whose style matches you.

That doesn't sound like such a bad idea...

[Though he's not exactly all that big on fashion. But it could be useful for some of the people here though.]

It's just kind of unfortunate that the primitive man look is kinda my thing...

Really? That's a real shame, a mind like yours should be able to drive a good car, even if it's not the most fashionable one.

Well... I'm not that big on driving either. Buses are usually more convenient for me.

[She laughs.]

Oh, come on, it was just a figure of speech. What's wrong with looking a bit good? Girls like their men a bit groomed at least.

[He's really only replying to be contrary. While Squalo will take the utmost care of it, no one touches his hair as far as he can help it. He gives an amused snort at the "primitive man" comment but answers with a lazy-]

No.

[She's not surprised, some people just don't like those things. She just hopes they take good care of their hair and looks, if only for her eyes to not be damaged upon seeing them, it's not as if she cares about them for their own sake.]

Aww, really? That's a pity, do you have any better ideas?

Voi, you did say you have no qualifications [that he'd count]. And I don't see how it's my job to keep you entertained.

If there was a job like that my days here would be far better, I could make shifts and have different people entertain me all day long. That way I wouldn't have to bother with work myself.

...Guess it would be nice to not have to use a knife to get a hair cut.

You used a knife to cut your hair? Please, tell me it was a sharp one, though still that must have hurt more than it was worth of.

Works out better for me than scissors.

If you say so, still your ends are probably sending a S.O.S call by now. And it would be less painful.
