I was actually quite touched that Ears was sweet enough to look out for a Alice and "help". I am delightfully frustrated!

Anyone else feel like there are a few missing bits from back in huge day when they did a re-read?

I've been a fan for a long time and I immediately began asking myself this as soon as I reached chapter two. I'm not sure if anybody else may have noticed, but when they were going at each other, Alice called Reggie by his last name and Ears only ever called Reggie by his first name. So... how DID Alice learn what Reggie's last name is, anyway? Did she learn it from Ears in between chapters or someone else or something?
