Passwords galore

Oct 06, 2008 14:37

I had to reset my passwords for 1 of the systems I work with on a daily basis. That got me to wondering how many different logons/signins etc I use on a daily basis to get my job done. After counting the log ons required for the systems I have running on my monitor right now I count 37.

How many do you have to log in to to do your job?

Just one.

All I do is read and write. I just read and write all goddamn day long. And I have long lunches.

I wouldn't mind your job for an occasional change of pace.

I don't know how many I have, but the fact that they each time out after 15 minutes is incredibly frustrating. Whoever decided that was the policy hasn't had to sign into each of them a dozen times a day.

I've got 2 passwords I need to log on to my computer... one is for my email an one is for my Novell login. Then I've got a bunch of other things as well... like supplier sites and such. Now if we're talking about paying bills and such... then I've got way too much! lol

I've never had a job where I've needed to use computers that much but on my last proper job I worked out that I had over 21 keys in daily use on my keychain ^^
