Well, another year is upon us. For me, this last one had to be the most bizarre and odd yet. Last semester was the most irritating yet, but I did rather well. I still hear from my ex after 1 year and 8 months, although I think I've finally pissed him off for a while. interested in grad school but hadn't previously that option?

Yeah, I've heard about the grad school here since I first went to UIUC my freshman year, probably from some of the same people you have. My issue is that I'd actually like teaching there later on. So, if I really wanted that, I can't really go to grad school here, at least not for my doctorate. Although, who knows maybe I could get a job across the river. For me, I like being somewhat close to the farm and my family and I have come to really respect and admire many of the faculty here and I'd really like to learn more from some of them. I have no idea what I'd do for research though. All I know is that after student mentoring that class I did last fall, I got the teaching bug and really really want to teach. That and one particular prof has kind of inspired me.
