You know, life can be difficult sometimes. It can be depressing, lonely, or troubling. However, that does not mean you should let it get to you, as I have recently. I'm glad to hear things are once again looking up for you. Maybe I'm missing some other context, but I don't feel like you were 'taking it out on others' or whining. Everybody does have problems, but this wouldn't be common knowledge if we didn't communicate about them with others. I think the real problem comes when people are only willing to announce there problems, are unreceptive to feedback &/or refuse to enact change. frankly (and fortunately) you don't fall into this category.

Oh, for the record, I don't think you can truly claim the emo banner as your own until you post a video blog about birds dying.

Things have been kind of crappy, but I'm realizing how things can improve. Heck, there are many more people out there who suffer more and have more problems then I'll probably ever have to deal with. It's better to put my energy into improving not only my situation, but also other people's then just whining.

While I have heard the term emo, I've never really seen a prime example, such as that video blog. I never realized that people can get such joy out of being miserable.
