Coraline walked slowly along the path, trying to drag her walk home out as much as she could. It wasn't that she didn't love Adam or want to go home to see her baby sister or see Sarah even, it was just she was fed up of being treated like a child and then like an adult and then like a child again. Bill was headed to work, already dressed for theme night, when he spotted Coraline headed down the path in his direction. It didn't look like she'd seen him, and he opened his mouth to call her when she kicked a rock and he was forced instead to leap out of the way.

Frowning slightly, he was again on the verge of talking, this time to ask her what was wrong, when she started laughing. "What's so funny?" he asked, puzzled.

"Erm-" Coraline began before erupting into giggles. Coraline laughed loudly, waving her hands as she tried to stop laughing. Slowing the giggles down, Coraline grinned madly and looked down. All it took was one look at Bill's legs before she started to laugh again. Wiping tears away from her eyes, Coraline took deep breaths as she tried to calm down and put on a straight face. "Nothing. Nothing is funny. Nothing at all."

Coraline held the straight face for a good ten seconds before she began to laugh again. "What are you wearing?"

"I'm going to theme night at the club," Bill said, realizing Coraline was likely laughing at him and not particularly caring. "It's Movie Night, so I'm dressed as King Leonidas."

"I can see your knees," Coraline said, letting out a loud bark of laughter. Coraline paused, looking at Bill seriously as she took in his outfit. King Leonidas, well she wasn't sure who that was but she was sure his mother wouldn't have let him prance about nearly naked like that. Wait, naked? "Bill? Are you wearing any... underwear?"

Coraline burst into more laughter.
