You do. I am slowly cutting back the raspberry canes, and the lavender, the allium heads and so on. The shrubs will need cutting soon, too.

Fortunately even hurricanes never get anywhere near 6,000 mph winds so we all just got the giggles, rather than actually worrying!

But it has been a very still day so, even funnier.

LOL! I saw the apology on the BBC website. I'm glad that I was relying on the Met Office app on my phone and not the BBC forecast or we'd have cancelled our plans for a walk today. As it was, the weather was beautiful. :-)

I am sure you would have realised 4 figure wind speeds were unlikely! We also use the report from the local met office, but I often go to the BBC one in the morning after I read the news headlines.

It has been a lovely still, sunny day, hasn't it!

We had a good walk and the weather was lovely. The air was very clear, so I got some good photos too.
