Wish I had as much courage as you have when going for new glasses! Mine are always boring, boring, boring...

I have also had new lenses put into the previous frames too, so I have a second pair, that shade from brown at the top to pale beige at the bottom. Probably better if I have to go to any funerals...

I say "Good morning, Grandma" when I see myself in the mirror first thing. :D

Thank you! I was rather taken with a pair of octagonal bright purple ones - but liked these even more :)

I do look like my Granny, too. But she died when I was 11 and so Mum's face is more familiar to me first thing in the morning 😊

I like the glasses and I definitely hear you re looking like your mother. I am the spitting image of mine at the same age.

Thank you. I look like a whole chain of women I realise - somewhere there is a rather stern picture of my maternal great grandmother and I can see me in her, too, despite very different hair styles. I also realise she probably just had resting bitch face too :)

The icon is my grandmother when she was around 20!
