D-d et al are away for the weekend as it is Nain's birthday. Nain being Welsh for Grandmother, and the grandmother in question being the NYM's - and today she is 100 :)

So I am on cat-sitting duty. Today Tegi decided this meant the cat sits on the cat-sitter...

To be honest she often comes and sits beside people, rather than on them!

I have just been sent a picture of the birthday lunch, and Nain looks well :)

I have just seen a photo of around 20 of them all out for the birthday meal - it looks as if she had a lovely day.

And Tegi is funny - she always gives the impression that you should be honoured by her coming and allowing herself to be fussed!

Tegi is always happy to be stroked - but sometimes when I go up she decides to ignore me as soon as her food is down, and stalks off through her cat-flap!

I have just seen a picture of the family celebrating - and Nain looks very well for 100.

Tegi is a rather beautiful girl. More dignified than in her early days when she managed to fall down the toilet a couple of times and once had to be rescued from the roof of a neighbour's house at the family's previous home!
