New Camera!

I have a new toy! My old Nikon camera was really on it's last legs. It had, for example, forgotten how to format a new memory card, but could no longer store anything on the older one. And the focus could be a bit fuzzy ( Read more... )

Thank you. During the years I lived on the UK mainland, as an islander I really missed always being close to the sea.

I hope you have lots of fun with your new camera. I do like having a proper optical zoom lens, so usually take the Canon M50 out on our walks. Phone cameras can be great for snatching a shot when you didn't expect to be taking photos, but aren't as versatile.

I agree - the phone is likely to remain my quick pic option as it was even before the old Nikon was on its last leg, but it is nice to have a good zoom again for when I want it.
