I wish I had some advice for you. I have a boss that, when I used to work directly for him, would do that to me multiple times a week. Now that I only work with him occasionally, it doesn't happen as often. The only thing I have been able to come up with is to talk to him as little as possible. When it is just the two of us in a conversation, say as little as possible. Give him a bunch of "Ok......ok ..... ok" BS and then get back to work. But this is not helpful to you at all. It's good that you stood up for yourself.

I agree wtih changeforadollar in that it is good that you stood up for yourself.
i used to be a terrible interruptor. One day my sister called me on it, quite loudly and with anger. It made me think twice about something I wasn't really aware of. This fella needs to be aware of how his words can insult people. Maybe you speaking out like that will be his wake up call. The icing on the cake is how you backed up what you were saying with hard copy. You were doing what was best for the job and system. AND you reminded everyone present that you are an efficient, thorough and dedicated worker. You also gave others the opportunity to think about what an ass the guy is.

I think you handled it very well. I admire that.
