I call an email like this "junk mail." People who send junk mail are usually not capable of putting feelings into words so they resort to the silly emails, thinking that it's better than nothing and left to their own merits, nothing is all they can send. Some might consider it interesting because it implies that it is going to send some inspirational message about joy in life and then all you get is that ridiculous song that is a-okay in their book because, after all, it does have the word joy in it. But finally, I'd say that the person wanted to send you a joyful message and felt this was a nice way to do. Whether it is nice or not, the intention seems to be good.

Probably just one of those things that aren't meant to mean anything, but to get everyone talking about it - kind of like how we are now. :)
